About me and my therapy practice
The therapeutic process can enable you to emerge from times of anxiety and mental stress as a stronger version of yourself. The relationship between therapist and client is an important factor is facilitating change and I offer an inclusive, non-judgmental and empathetic environment. My aim is to help clients achieve a higher level of understanding in themselves and work through any difficulties they may be facing.
Having worked in the Financial Services in London for many years I decided to retrain to become a psychotherapist. Having had therapy myself in earlier life made me realise just how beneficial it can be and I wanted to be able to help others in a similar way.
I studied Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regents University which is also where I completed my Foundation Certificate in the same subject.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Based in Hertford and London, I offer a warm and supportive environment to help you work through any form of problem or issue you may be currently facing. I have been trained in an integrative way which means I have experience of the main modalities of psychotherapy. My approach in the way I choose to work is primarily in an existential way. Aiming to help you explore your lived experience, the choices you make in life and the struggles you may be facing.
Anxiety and stress are everyday factors in life and I believe that therapy can help to manage and reduce the associated emotional pain and mental suffering.

It's common to feel worried or unsure about what to expect from therapy if you haven't been before. I provide a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for us to explore together what you feel is negatively impacting you and help you to work towards feeling happier and more fulfilled in your life.
