About me and my therapy practice
Welcome...
You don’t have to be in crisis to seek therapy… In fact, therapy can be helpful at any time.
REACHING OUT for support in the past has often been seen as a sign of weakness or even taboo. But nowadays, we know it takes a courageous person to be able to reach out. Therapy can be one of the supportive ways, to make living life more fulfilling.
Equally, in all our lives, there are moments where we can feel overwhelmed, indescribably uneasy, at a crossroads or struggling in our relationships. Sometimes we find ourselves repeating the same old patterns and unsure why. It can feel like something needs to change but we don’t know how…
This is where therapy can shed light …We can sit or walk together. Creating a safe and confidential space for you to reflect and explore how you want to make your life more fulfilling in your personal and professional life through an open, non-judgemental and compassionate conversation.
MY APPROACH. First and foremost, I put my heart and soul into my therapeutic work with you. Whilst, keeping you at the forefront of my mind, I am constantly considering what might enhance or hinder our work together and the potential transformation. I hope you find that I am warm, open, work thoughtfully and inject humour where appropriate.
Building a relationship with a therapist takes time. The stronger and more trusting the relationship becomes the more the benefits of therapy can increase. So it’s vital you choose a therapist you can work with and open up to.

Practice description
I deeply believe that through therapy lasting change can take place, releasing burdens and unlocking potential. I am passionate about deepening the connection we make with ourselves and with others to improve the quality of our lives
I am a qualified integrative therapist. The benefit of working integratively is that I can utilise a broad church of approaches to ensure my work is tailored to meet your needs.
One size doesn’t fit all. This also includes valuing and working with our similarities and differences around our identities and life experiences, visible or invisible, and the different opportunities and difficulties that may have created.
I have trained at The Minster Centre, one of the UK’s leading Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy training institutes.
My first session
I understand it can be nerve wracking taking the first step…
We can discuss what may work for you in our initial short call and book our introductory session together. The call costs nothing.
In our introductory session together we explore your options fully. The introductory session is at the same fee as all sessions. Some therapists call the introductory session, an ‘assessment’ to see if you and I feel we can work together. Will we bring out the best in each other to maximise the benefits of therapy?
You have no obligation to continue our work after the introductory session if you feel we don’t fit. But… if our connection feels right, we then choose whether to work short term (a minimum of six sessions, I recommend twelve sessions) or longer term, open ended work.
When we choose to work together…we review our work at regular intervals so that our work stays dynamic and relevant to your needs.
