About me and my therapy practice

Are you a young person feeling anxious, low, or just not quite yourself lately?

Or perhaps you’re a parent or carer, worried about your child’s mental health and unsure where to turn?

I know how challenging things can feel for young people right now – whether it’s school stress, anxiety, identity worries, or just feeling overwhelmed by life. And for parents and carers, it can be heartbreaking to watch someone you love struggle, especially when support is hard to access.

That’s where I come in. I offer a safe, welcoming space where young people can feel truly heard, accepted, and supported, exactly as they are.

I’m a person-centred therapist, which means I won’t tell anyone how they should feel. Instead, I meet them where they are and work at their pace. I bring warmth, honesty and curiosity to every session, and genuinely enjoy getting to know the young people I work with. Building trust and connection is at the heart of my work.

Practice description

Over the past seven years, I’ve supported children and young people in secondary schools, through a bereavement service, and in private practice. I’ve helped clients navigate anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, identity struggles, food and body image issues, self-harm, and the pressures of growing up in today’s fast-paced world.

I often use creative and practical tools to make counselling feel a little less “talk-y” – especially for those who find it hard to open up. Every session is tailored to the individual.
