About me and my therapy practice
My name is Nova Nolan, I am a humanistic integrative counsellor working in Queens Park, Brighton. I provide a therapeutic counselling service for people who feel they need support, guidance, a safe space to explore themselves or simply a need to be witnessed and heard.
You may be struggling, feeling, anxious and disconnected. Perhaps you are experiencing a period of low mood, feeling challenged by a big life change or keen to explore what it means to be you. It may be that counselling has been at the back of your mind for some time and now, it just feels like the right time.
This could be the start of your therapeutic journey. If you are searching for a therapist, take your time, it’s really important that you connect with the therapist that is right for you. Trust your instincts. Your gut is a great guide, holds wisdom and helps us to listen to our true selves.
There are many reasons why people come to counselling, each client brings a story that is unique to them. I work with compassion, respect and sincerity, to facilitate safe exploration and open up new ways to be and to feel.
At the centre of my practice is a compassionate curiosity. By focusing on your experience; examining all the threads and paying careful attention to what those threads look like and feel like, we begin to build a clearer picture. In this way, we can create a foundation from which choice and movement can flow.
