About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’ve been helping young people, adolescents and adults for over 7 years to find strategies to overcome difficult periods in their lives, or help with deeper issues unresolved from their past, such as childhood experiences, family problems or traumatic events.

I have further developed my practice knowledge in areas of anxiety, transgender issues, personality disorders, suicidal thoughts, body dysmorphic disorder & body image issues, substance misuse, working with LGBTQ+ young people and safeguarding adults & young people.

I also have extensive experience in helping young people with issues such as abuse, anger, body image, bullying, eating problems, exam stress, grief, school problems, self-harm, sleep problems and suicidal feelings.

No two clients’ issues are the same and my approach is to find the best and most appropriate way of helping each individual, finding that balance together and at a pace that suits each client.

I see clients at my home in South West London and also offer video counselling. I offer concessionary rates depending on personal circumstances.

Practice description

We all experience problems and difficulties which at times can build-up and seem overwhelming in our day-to-day lives. Sometimes, events or relationships can feel difficult due to traumatic or upsetting past events, which play out in our present and prevent us from being who we want to be and achieving the things we want to in life.

Counselling can help you have more awareness of yourself and the decisions you make, giving you greater empowerment in your life. It can help with a range of emotional issues including anxiety, depression, loss and grief, low self-esteem, mood or family and relationship problems. It can support you through difficult times and allow you to achieve your full potential.

I provide my clients with a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space within which to explore experiences, feelings and concerns together in order to achieve positive life changes. I work with adults and young people from age 11 upwards.
