I have 18 years counselling experience, giving clients the opportunity to explore anxieties, complicated feelings, or worries to someone who isn't family, but who does have the experience and sensitivity to listen to you, can help you explore a different, more positive future and offer new ways to cope.

Dark, sometimes suicidal thoughts can feel overwhelming, and it's hard to find someone who you can trust to talk to. You don't want to burden anyone else. I have been counselling since 2004 and in private practice for 5 years and I know how talking to someone can make a difference. I can listen and hear those emotional struggles.

I am also experienced in supporting teenagers and young adults.

Having worked within a children's charity and as part of a hospice family support team, I'm conscious that everyone copes differently. A 'talking therapy' simply isn't suited to everyone. For this reason I also offer creative therapies. Whether you choose a one-off session or several appointments, what's best for you is at the heart of my service. I can offer flexible appointment times, including evenings. DBS checked and fully insured.

Young people age 16 and 17 £35 for a 45 minute session.

I am experienced in supervising adult and children work and counsellors on placement.

I qualified in 2009 in therapeutic and clinical supervision and have worked with both counsellors and other health worker professionals.

I supervise qualified counsellors in private practice as well as in the charity sector.  Also counsellors working with young people and children. 

Sessions £60/ 1½ hours.

Negotiable rates if less than 1½ hours required.
