About me and my therapy practice
If you are struggling with anxiety, relationship problems, depression, low self-esteem, addiction problems and more, then you will no doubt find psychotherapy and counselling very helpful. If you are struggling with any of these problems, then I know the isolating pain they can cause, but I have seen depression turn to joy, despair into hope and self-hatred into self-love. It is very important that you feel safe and comfortable and that is why I offer a free session to start with, so you can see if I am the right person for you.
I offer a confidential space to explore the parts of us that we would not normally wish to face. A place to drop our mask and show our hurt, fear and shame. Being real and honest with someone in a trustworthy setting can be a great healer. My areas of interest include recovery from addiction (drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling etc.) recovery from childhood trauma, shame and much more.
I offer a free initial session. This provides an opportunity for us to meet and get to know each other and you can see if I am the right counsellor for you. I also offer Skype, phone and couples counselling. I generally work 8am to 8pm, last appointment being 7pm, and also Saturday mornings, last appointment being 12am
If you are feeling anxiety, confusion, hurt, anger, shame, depression, fear or struggling with an addiction, then I suggest you are kind, gentle and loving towards yourself by taking a risk and starting the process of change.
