I offer face to face, online and telephone counselling. In exceptional circumstances, I could arrange to visit clients at home.
About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel so tough sometimes… confusing, painful, bewildering, even meaningless. Whatever you’re going through, you don’t have to struggle on alone. Finding the right person to help can feel overwhelming and scary, but taking that first step will help to ease your fears. Send me an email at: email@example.com.
You can get in touch with no obligation. We will have an initial phone or video call, so that you can decide if the connection feels right. I offer a safe, gentle space where you can bring your whole self without fear of judgement. The working relationship of counsellor and client is collaborative, so it is important to find someone who you can connect with, in all the ways that matter to you.
Committing to counselling is the start of a most vital quest – the quest to rediscover yourself and all the potential that you hold within. I truly believe that anyone can find meaning and hope, and a renewed sense of clarity and zest for life, even when things seem most dark. Here at Unfurl Therapies, I believe that each individual has light and beauty, strength and insight that are just waiting to be appreciated and nurtured into greater being. People are not broken things to be fixed, but vibrant, energetic, unique beings.
I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist, and a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I undertake regular professional supervision to support my practice and engage in continuing professional development (CPD).
My first session
After the initial consultation, if we agree to work together, we will arrange our first paid session and discuss a regular session day/time going forward. There will be a brief assessment to be completed before the first session. This is very helpful in identifying what your immediate needs are and which areas to focus on initially. we will also complete a client agreement that will lay out how we will work together.
