About me and my therapy practice

I can help with a wide range of issues and concerns, including relationship issues, family problems, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, pregnancy and fertility issues, menopause, sexuality, gender issues, stress, bereavement, life changes and simply feeling sad. My approach to counselling is humanistic, which means that I believe you are the expert in your own world and my main aim is to give you the time and space to work out your own way forward. In my own counselling, I have found that having someone listen and understand me has had a transformative effect on the way I think about my life and make decisions. Although starting counselling was very hard for me, I’m so glad I found the courage. I hope that I will be able to offer you a counselling experience that is helpful and supportive. I am a registered member of BACP and I am working towards BACP accredited status. This means that I adhere to BACP's ethical framework to guide my practice, ensuring that I am always working in the best and safest way possible with my clients.
