I am currently available for online therapy, and can offer daytime or evening appointments.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified BACP accredited counsellor with five years of experience.
My approach to counselling is humanistic, which means that I believe you are the expert in your own world and my main aim is to give you the time and space to work out your own way forward.
I can help with a wide range of issues and concerns, including relationship issues, family problems, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, pregnancy and fertility issues, menopause, sexuality, gender issues, stress, bereavement, life changes and simply feeling sad.
I am currently offering clients online sessions, via WhatsApp video calls. Don't worry if you've never used this before or don't know how it works - I can send you full instructions or even talk you through it over the phone. Once we have it set up it will mean that we can talk to each other and see each other, which makes the experience as close to a face to face session as possible.
My first session
Usually our first session is about me getting to know you and finding out what you'd like some help with. If I think that I don't have the expertise to help you, I will try to help you find someone who can be of use. The first session is also about you working out whether you'd like to work with me. There is no obligation to continue if things don't feel right.
