About me and my therapy practiceMy supervision style is primarily psychodynamic, but I also work with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and person-centred models. My focus is on the development of the individual in a wider context as well as the problem itself. I use a combination of exploratory, psychoeducational and problem-solving techniques to help supervisees gain a better understanding of the presenting issues of their clients.
I am a HCPC-registered counselling psychologist in private practice based in West London. I have over 10 years of experience working in the National Health Service (NHS), third-sector and educational settings with a wide variety of life difficulties, such as burnout, depression, anxiety, anger, phobias, self-esteem issues, childhood sexual abuse, early childhood trauma, bereavement, cultural and identity issues, long-term health conditions, student mental health and those who work in the performing arts/entertainment industry.
