About me and my therapy practiceWhile appreciating your uniqueness, I will work with you in a supportive and collaborative way, while we explore your life experiences and the behaviours, feelings and emotions that may be causing you difficulties or affecting your day to day life. I work with you, looking at your past and present situations and helping you to find strategies for positive change. I am very aware of the importance of developing a trusting and open relationship while we work together. Throughout our work, I will be conscious of your individuality; you have your own background and perspectives. No problem is too big or too small to bring to counselling - if something is affecting your well-being and day to day life then it's important to get help and feel supported. I offer a non-judgmental and accepting space to explore deep feelings and aspects of your life or yourself that you'd like to change or understand. I have years of experience working with situations such as stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, feelings of isolation, low self-esteem, difficult family situations, relationship issues, drug addiction, domestic violence, sexual abuse, anger management and self-harm. I work with adults, couples, children and adolescents. My practice is situated on the Somerset Levels, between Yeovil, Taunton and Langport. There is parking and disabled access to the counselling room.

About me and my therapy practice
I trained as a supervisor with Iron Mill College and my practice is based in the village of Thorney, between Langport, Yeovil and Taunton.
I use a cyclical model of supervision, alongside the seven-eyed model and bring creative ways of working into my practice, to help my supervisee's explore various aspects of their client work.
I offer a non-judgmental and accepting space to build an effective and trusting working relationship.
My supervision sessions run for 1.5hours
