About me and my therapy practice

I am a person-centred counsellor, I work to form a trusting and non- judgmental relationship with all my clients, to ensure that they feel safe and sufficiently held in sessions to enable exploration of their distress or concerns. I have lived experience of the challenges and pain that can come with mental health and how these impacts on you and those around you. This personal experience has given me a depth of understanding which I am so grateful for. I embrace diversity and our uniqueness. I can help you to explore what is causing you to feel overwhelmed and anxious, so you can find a way to achieve calm and balance in your life. I can help you to understand what triggers you and offer ways in which to manage them, giving you back a sense of control and agency over your life. I work with all ages and genders, adults, teens, children, family, couples and I offer parent sessions.

I offer

• An approachable, down to earth space to explore feelings and thoughts

• A way forward, a combination of formal training and life experience to support you

• An acceptance of you as a whole being,

• An environment where you can feel safe, comfortable and at ease without any judgement

• I offer weekly or twice-weekly sessions, face to face or online/phone.
