About me and my therapy practice
Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. My approach as a therapist is warm and empathic, as, before anything, it is vital that my clients feel safe and supported. I offer to walk this journey beside you, helping to untangle thoughts and feelings that you wish to explore.
I currently work in the NHS and in private practice. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, panic attacks, bereavement, infertility, low self-esteem, sexuality, aging, abusive relationships, separation/divorce, eating disorders, family dynamics, HIV, amongst other things.
Being a foreigner in the UK and having lived in different countries (Brazil, France, and Canada), I offer a multi-cultural, open-minded, and non-judgmental approach.
If you would like an initial session to discuss your goals and expectations, please reach out. I like to say that therapy is always a good commitment you can do with yourself! It is a great starting point.
I work with weekly 50-minute sessions, which can be held either face to face in London Bridge or online.
My practice is informed by a Gestalt Psychotherapy approach, which focuses in the here-and-now and in the uniqueness of each human being.
I also like to work with breathing, body awareness and creativity, depending if that suits my clients and if it is of their interest.
My first session
Our first session together will be a great opportunity to see if I am the right person to help you and if you would like to work with me. We can use these initial 50 minutes to explore your goals and to get to know each other better.
