About me and my therapy practice
There can be many reasons to turn to therapy and whatever brings you, my aim is to build relationships with my clients which bring warmth and are empowering and affirming. I am an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Masters degree in Psychotherapy. I also hold a Diploma in Supervision with Soul.
Whatever challenges you're currently facing, I offer a safe and nurturing space where we can talk and explore together what is happening, and where you will feel supported and understood.
My training is in Psychosynthesis, which is part of a growing movement of Psychospiritual development approaches. At its heart lies the understanding that in meeting and including our struggles and our pain, we actually become more fully ourselves and are open to more moments of joy on a daily basis. We find a more whole sense of Self - this is us coming home to our True Self.
Practice description
How Counselling can help
The aim of therapy in this context is to emerge from your difficulties with the confidence to follow your own path, and with a growing sense of kindness towards yourself. I bring acceptance and warmth to my work with clients. Working with me will feel like a conversation; one which helps you to process and make sense of what is happening and arrive at a place of renewed self acceptance and self confidence.
My experience includes working in a University with young adults dealing with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to self harm and eating disorders, volunteering in a Women’s Refuge and running a private practice. I am a fully insured member of both BACP and UKCP. I abide by their Code of Ethics.

About me and my therapy practice
Supervision
I have experience as a clinical Supervisor and hold a Certificate in 'Supervision with Soul' from Re-vision. I offer affordable supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychologists working within a broad range of theoretical approaches.
I believe that we are drawn to the work of Counselling and Psychotherapy for a deeper reason. The challenges and stumbling blocks we face as therapists offer us opportunities for both personal and professional growth, enabling, through the conduit of a Supervision which includes metaphor, myth and imagination, the emergence of something soul-ful, and with it a deeper and more purposeful experience of our client work.
I am approachable and adaptable and work compassionately with whatever you wish bring to Supervision. I will always strive to attune to your needs, and my aim is to help you to deepen your client work in a way which benefits both you and your clients. My desire is to bring growth and a transformative element to our work together.
I have a private Psychotherapy practice and keep up to date with emerging approaches and theories. I would describe my approach as integrative and transpersonal, whilst remaining grounded. I am influenced by ISTDP, psychodynamic and Jungian thinking and am also interested in the work of Dr Gabor Mate and Byron Katie.
I recognise that the Supervision space can be a vulnerable one, and I provide a safe and non-judgemental atmosphere in which we can think together and arrive at clarity and expansion. If you are looking for Supervision which brings a fresh creative, imaginative and transpersonal perspective to your client work whilst enhancing the skills you already possess, then I would be happy to hear from you.
I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist. I offer Supervision both online and in person.
