About me and my therapy practice

There can be many different reasons to turn to therapy and I build relationships with my clients which bring warmth and are empowering and healing. I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with a Masters degree in Psychotherapy.

Whatever challenges you're currently facing, I offer a safe and nurturing space where we can talk and explore together what is happening, and where you will feel supported and understood.

My training is in Psychosynthesis, which is part of a growing movement of psychospiritual development approaches. At its heart lies the understanding that in meeting and including our struggles and pain, we open ourselves to more joy and lightness, and find a more integral sense of Self.

How Counselling can help

The aim of therapy in this context is to emerge from your difficulties with the confidence to follow your own path, and with a growing sense of kindness towards yourself.   I bring acceptance and warmth to my work with clients.  Working with me will feel like a conversation; one which helps you to process and make sense of what is happening and arrive at a place of self acceptance and self confidence.

Where I work

I am located in the village of Ashwell which lies on the borders of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. I work in a peaceful and private converted Victorian washhouse in my garden, surrounded by flowers and greenery.
