About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Integrative psychotherapist and counsellor with practices in Shepherd’s Bush, London Bridge and at The Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy in Maida Vale.
Counselling and psychotherapy can help us reach a better understanding or why we are feeling a certain way. When we are feeling stressed, anxious and maybe life feels overwhelming, it can be useful to talk to someone to help make more sense of the issues you are facing. Change is always possible if we really want it. Sometimes we just need to be supported and listened to in order to grow and move forwards in a healthier way.
Each client is unique and I work in such a way as to allow your true nature to come through. It is a privilege to work with clients and to offer a space for you to totally be yourself. I work in a confidential and non-judgemental way in order for you to explore your feelings. I believe that there is real potential for change held in the relationship between psychotherapist and client.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked for twenty years in the media industry. This experience has helped me to develop an understanding of the pressures of working in fast paced environments.
I am currently offering sessions on line via Zoom or Skype for clients who are distancing or unable to attend a session in the room.
My first session
The initial session will last for 50 minutes and will hopefully offer you a space to talk about what you would like to achieve in therapy and provide me an opportunity to gather a history and identify areas in which we might work.
