About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative therapist working collaboratively with clients to help them resolve the issues they bring to counselling.

I have a private practice seeing couples and individuals. I specialise in relationship therapy having trained with Relate and being a Relate Practitioner. I also worked with young people for many years, having founded and led a counselling service for students and staff in a mainstream senior academy. For two years I worked for a charity counselling adult survivors of child sexual abuse, broadening my knowledge of working with trauma.

I am experienced in working with many different issues, including relationship issues, eating disorders, obesity, self-harming, depression/low mood, anxiety, bereavement, low self-esteem, substance abuse, sexual abuse, anger management and trauma.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to the BACP professional code of ethics and practice. My work is supervised and I am fully insured.
