About me and my therapy practice
My name is Soraya Hind. I am a qualified counsellor who believes that counselling should be accessible to all. I have experience of supporting people with a variety of complex issues, ranging from depression to domestic abuse. As a disabled mixed-race mother, myself, I have been through a lot in life, and even have accessed counselling in my own right. Therefore, I would love the opportunity to provide you with a similarly empowering experience. I pride myself in providing a down to earth, non-judgemental and culturally sensitive, safe space. I have a particular interest in counselling for disabled people and members of the BAME community (Black Asian Minority Ethnic), but of course I welcome enquiries from everyone.
I am offering the flexibility of telephone and video sessions. This means you could effectively be anywhere in the world, as long as you have access to secure WIFI, time and a safe space where you are not likely to be disturbed for the duration of the counselling session.
My practice is first and foremost Person Centred, which means I will treat you with the upmost respect and empathy, within a safe counselling space. I may also draw on an integrative approach depending on what your needs are, and what you are comfortable with.

I offer a free no obligation 30 minutes consultation to establish if my service is what you are looking for, as well as to answer any questions you might have about how we may work together.
