About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working with adults and adolescents. I provide a safe and confidential space where you can feel comfortable sharing anything without the fear of judgement. Although I am trained to work with a variety of issues and problems, I specialise in working with domestic abuse, trauma and eating disorders.
I don't judge and don't give advice, my aim is to support you in finding your own way by focusing on your strengths.
I believe the relationship between us is the most important aspect of the therapy and I value openness, honesty and equality in the relationship.
My practice is open and welcoming to everyone despite gender, age, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, etc. I work both short-term and long-term.
My practice is based in Enfield Town and has a very good transport links. Just a few minutes away, there is a Chase Side overground station and many buses routes (121, 313, 307, 191).
My first session
The first session will last 50 min like every other session. I will explain confidentiality, cancellation policy and will give you an opportunity to tell me what brings you to therapy. Hopefully you will get a sense of us working together and then you are welcome to decide whether you feel safe and able to endeavour on the journey with me.
