Availability

I currently have new client availability.  

My working hours are 10am to 8pm Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings are available from 10am to 1pm by arrangement.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma.

My work with Trauma sufferers includes historic or ongoing Abuse and or Assault (physical or psychological); Trauma arising from service with the Emergency Services or Armed Forces; recovery from road traffic (or other transport) accidents. I am frequently engaged in attending major Critical Incidents throughout the UK.

I am a former front line Police Officer and Officer with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve having spent over 25 years in uniform.

As a former Legal Professional, I have extensive knowledge and experience of coping with Chronic Illness, Clinical Negligence, Catastrophic Injury as well as Medico-Legal work.

I am also experienced in overcoming Anxiety, Depression and or Panic Attacks. diagnosing and managing Personality Disorders, including Borderline Personality Disorder (EUPD) (DBT Therapy). Relationship Therapy (Couples). Employment Issues. Short or Long Term. Support Group Therapy.

I also undertake EAP work.

I use a variety of models and interventions to bring about positive changes for my clients.

My first session

In order to assess your needs, an initial assessment either 1-2-1 (or virtually) is preferable.  This is carried out during an initial assessment session, which enables the prospective client to make an informed choice about whether therapy is the right intervention for them.
