About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Fiona, a north London based counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships (whether personal or professional), self-esteem, stress, problems at work, intrusive thoughts, identity, bereavement, meaning and purpose – among other challenges.
But the truth is that our reasons for coming to therapy are as individual as we are.
What’s essential is that you find a therapist who you feel comfortable with and who works at your pace. However, it can be difficult and frustrating to navigate your way through all the options and therapy jargon out there. So, put simply, I offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to talk through what you need to.
We’ll work together to develop clarity, insight and understanding, and build a way forward that takes you in the positive direction you want to go in.
A bit more about me: Since moving to London over a decade ago I have pursued a career in both therapy and publishing and have written, produced and published a number of books on mental health and wellbeing, including a series of bestselling books with the mental health charity Mind that help people develop the tools to respect and maintain their own mental health.
I practice in Stroud Green in North London, near Finsbury Park, Crouch Hill and Holloway (N4, N19, N7).
Drop me an email or give me a call if you want to arrange an initial consultation or if you have any questions.
