About me and my therapy practice

That first step into counselling can feel daunting. My priority is to welcome you when we meet. I'm qualified, experienced and offer a free first session, usually within a week of contact. Evening & Saturday sessions, reduced-rate weekday daytime sessions available.

We all find things hard at times in our lives. When we do, it can be good to work through our thoughts and feelings with someone who seeks to understand, not judge us, and offers helpful reflection on our situation. This is what I aim to do as a counsellor.

I am trained in several therapeutic approaches that I can draw on flexibly depending on what works for the individual. I believe each person has their own inherent resources and potential for change and growth. A good counselling relationship helps to activate that potential by the counsellor and client working together.

If you would like more information about me, how I work and what to expect from a first session please visit my website:

You can also email me or leave a message on my answerphone. There's no need to provide a detailed message - just your contact details and an expression of interest in my counselling services. My usual response time to enquiries is two working days.
