About me and my therapy practice

N1 and N16 - You may want help for specific reasons like bereavement, relationship issues, anger, obsessional behaviours or less specific issues like depression, anxiety or dissatisfaction with life.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy can assist in the treatment of a range of issues and contribute positively to mental and physical health, increasing your ability to manage life more effectively and with greater satisfaction.

This way of working will help you to understand better and resolve the issues you face by discovering more about yourself and how you interact in the world. It is a theoretical approach based upon ideas that very early experiences unconsciously influence our ways of relating to ourselves and others and how we make sense of situations we encounter in the present.

The aim is to facilitate deep, lasting change and emotional development.

Initially, I will discuss the issues that bring you to therapy and the way I work with you at a preliminary assessment.

I do offer concessionary rates if my normal rates are not affordable  and I am very happy to discuss these with you. The number of clients I can take on this basis is limited and therefore at my discretion.

My normal charges are £65 for daytime sessions and £80 for evening and early morning sessions.
