Practice description
Finding a good balance has never been more important as we continue to live through such challenging times. Developing more resilience; feeling more grounded; creating healthy work/life boundaries and strengthening our connections with others are crucial for reducing anxiety or feelings of despair or depression.
I have 20 years of therapeutic experience, within an NHS setting, various organisations and now in private practice. I work with individuals (18yrs+) and couples and specialise in relationship with Self and others, anxiety, depression, loss, trauma. This list is not exhaustive though (please see list below) as I work with whatever you need to bring.
I would say I am an humanitarian at heart and have a particular interest in how each of us finds meaning in our experience of life. I see wellbeing as holistic and encourage it's development at every level - emotional, physical, spiritual and mental.
With this in mind, I offer an integrative approach, combining different modalities such as person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, mindfulness, transpersonal (spiritual/existential), creative arts, embodied psychotherapy and family systemic therapies. You are a unique individual and we will work with whatever you bring, in a way that feels right for you.
Prior to my psychotherapy training, I worked in the private sector for many years, within a learning and development setting where I provided coaching and performance feedback for employees. I also provide supervision for other therapists.
Sessions are in-person, via Zoom or walking together in the great outdoors (weather permitting!).

About me and my therapy practice
Experienced, integrative therapist and supervisor, welcoming new in-person or online supervision enquiries. Please get in touch to arrange a no-fee, initial conversation about your needs.
Practice description
I am an integrative therapist and supervisor, with a predominantly relational and systemic approach and have a keen interest in holistic wellbeing and existential (or spiritual) ways of working. I use creativity and work with the body and the outdoors where appropriate and helpful.
I have 20 years experience within NHS, private practice and organisations. I welcome therapists from all modalities and see supervision as an ongoing conversation between two professionals; providing support, nurturing and growth for the therapist. My aim is to empower the supervisee/therapist, in turn, to work safely and effectively with their clients and to ensure good quality of practice.
Prior to my psychotherapy training, I worked in the private sector for many years, within a learning and development setting where I provided coaching and performance feedback for employees. Then, for 12 years, I was the in-house counsellor at a GP surgery. I have also provided counselling for young people in a charity setting and worked as a service user support worker for Mind.
I currently work with supervisees from new trainees, to developing students, newly qualified therapists all the way through to seasoned, experienced practitioners. Some work within colleges or organisations and others are in private practice. I welcome all. Please contact me for an initial no-fee meeting/ discussion about your needs and we can see if we are a good fit.
Fees - 1 hr £60, 1.5 hrs £75. Trainee/ student or low income– 1hr £45, 1.5hrs £60.
I hold the OCN (Open College Network) Certificate in Supervision. I am based in Lode, just off J35 (A14) between Cambridge and Newmarket.
