About me and my therapy practice
It's always good to talk.... but it's not always so easy to find someone to listen...
Hello, I'm Tina and I offer a safe, non-judgemental space in which we can explore your feelings, anxieties, life experiences, in fact anything that you need to talk about. I will sit by your side and try to help you make sense of your life story.
Practice description
I am a BACP registered therapist and I work integratively, which means I can draw on a number of different therapeutic styles in order to find the right support for you. I work mainly online and try to offer a quiet safe environment where you can relax and we can work together on the difficult stuff in your life.
My first career was as a journalist. I have previously worked as a volunteer on a domestic violence helpline and as a listener for the Samaritans. In 2015 I began my training as a counsellor and qualified in 2019. Since then I have been working for a low-cost counselling charity; with the families of suicide victims and for a charity that helps the families of children who have been sexually abused.
My first session
After receiving an email inquiry from you, I will get in touch to arrange a free 30 minute telephone call or zoom session where we can discuss what has prompted you to seek counselling, what issues you would like to talk about and if you have any questions for me. Following the call, if you decide to go ahead, we will organise a suitable time to continue with sessions on zoom.
I am a registered member of BACP, and follow their code of ethics. I have regular supervision and I am fully insured.
