About me and my therapy practice
All of us have felt anxious, distressed, overwhelmed by events which had an impact on our self-esteem, our ability to create a meaningful relationship or create the life we would like to live.
Often, it might feel too much... we might feel burdened and we are stuck...we are confused...not able to make any decision...we feel lonely and lost. That's when counselling might be a way forward.
Working with me is a collaborative process, I am not a fixer, therefore, I will not fix your problems or tell you what to do. I will not give you advice on what is best for you or how to live your life. However, I can provide a safe, empathic and non - judgmental space where I am able to listen to you with a sense of not knowing and trust that you know what is best for you.
While working together, we might explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours to help you get insight and a better understanding of yourself and your needs. Knowing yourself and getting clarity about your feelings, emotions and situation can provide the foundation for change.
I understand that starting counselling could be concerning; I will give you time to go at your own pace and full attention for you to explore what is troubling you and what matters for you.
Due to COVID-19, my practice has been moved to online, I offer sessions via 'Vsee' program.
If you have any questions, would like further information, please let me know and we can talk it over.
