About me and my therapy practice

I am a warm and compassionate qualified psychotherapist, trained to Masters Degree level, with extensive clinical NHS & Private experience.

Deciding to begin therapy can seem overwhelming and you may have a sense of confusion or feel that you have lost your way. My approach is to get into the roots of you. To really understand what makes you who you are today, and what is holding you back, so that you can grow and become your best, most authentic version of yourself.

With my dedicated support, together we can unknot your emotional and psychological difficulties, or gain clarity during a crisis, in a comfortable, non-judgmental environment.

Currently, I provide focused, short-term counselling and in-depth, long-term psychotherapy, specialising in anxiety, depression and work related stress as well as trauma, loss & bereavement. My special interests include relationship issues, transitions to new life-stages, Post-Natal Depression and LGBTQ+.

Practice description

Therapy is a unique journey that is different for each individual. Our therapeutic relationship of trust and understanding is always at the centre of this. A place you feel listened to and known.

You may be seeking short term therapy to resolve a crisis or decide how to move forwards in a particular situation.

Or you may find yourself stuck in the same situation and pattern of behaviour time and again, where longer term therapy can address more deeply rooted issues.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is teamwork, and together we will explore your emotions, thoughts, early-life experiences and beliefs. This understanding provides an insight into present-day problems that stem from patterns developed over time, and is the foundation of self-development.

With my support, you can begin to make sense of your world and take steps to change these patterns. This can have a beneficial effect on your self esteem, encourage healthier relationships and lead to a better quality of life with more clarity.
