About me and my therapy practice
I'm a qualified and BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I aim to work with you in a warm, trustworthy and down-to-earth way, to support you with what troubles you.
Perhaps you've been finding yourself feeling anxious, down, angry, or stuck, or having problems with the relationships in your life.
Maybe you’ve been coping so far but things now feel overwhelming. Or perhaps it’s been this way for a while and you want it to change.
I'm an integrative therapist, which means that I draw on a number of therapeutic approaches, working flexibly and collaboratively with you, to find a way of doing therapy that works for you and what you bring.
Whilst we may not talk directly about the past, I will tend to hold in mind that early experiences can shape our ways of relating to ourselves and others in the present.
I won't tell you what to do, but together we will aim to create a place where you can think safely about what is happening, explore your difficulties and, where possible, begin to think about how these could change.

Postgraduate Diploma Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
I work with clients in person from my therapy room in Old Street. My room is part of a suite of therapy rooms and is in easy reach of Islington, Shoreditch, Moorgate, the City, and many other areas of North, East and Central London.
I also work online. As for so many of us, working remotely was new to me at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. I have found it to be a different yet effective way of working with clients. Please do get in touch if you'd like to talk though working together online.
I offer offer both short-term (time limited) or open-ended therapy.
My first session
My first session is an opportunity for us to begin to get to know each other. We'll talk through what's bringing you to therapy and start to think about how therapy might help. It's a chance for you to ask any questions you might have about therapy or myself and get a sense of what it might be like for us to work together.
Towards the end of the session we'll think together about whether we might be a good fit and you can then take some time to consider whether you'd like to begin working together.
