About me and my therapy practice
I understand how taking the first steps to finding a therapist can be difficult. I also know how we can feel stuck when we don’t know how to deal with unwanted thoughts and feelings. Whatever you are experiencing, I’m here to offer you a non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, accepted, and respected.
I’m a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor, trained in the humanistic integrative field. I use a range of theoretical approaches and skills to work with the individual needs of each person. My aim as a therapist is to facilitate change by helping my clients to discover new ways of relating to their internal world.
I have had a great deal of experience working with people of different ages, genders, and cultures within varied settings, including the NHS. As someone who worked closely with families for many years, I have developed an extensive knowledge of family dynamics and how our childhood shapes the way we relate to others. I use this experience to support clients in identifying unhealthy relationship patterns and creating steps to build a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Please do not hesitate to contact me for a free 15-minute phone call where we can introduce ourselves and discuss if we are the right fit for each other.
