About me and my therapy practice
I provide long and short term counselling according to your need. I work with a wide range of issues, and specialise in bereavement, supporting carers, trauma, and abuse.
My aim is to provide a safe and confidential space to explore how you are feeling.
Deciding to try counselling and/or choosing a counsellor can feel difficult. Please do contact me if you would like to find out more about counselling and how we may be able to work together.
Due to the current COVID 19 restrictions I am currently working over the phone or via online video. I am regularly reviewing returning to face-to-face sessions.
I am BACP Accredited, member number 244383.
I am based in North Bristol - easy access from South Gloucestershire, Bath and Bristol. My therapy room is private, ground floor and a relaxing space for you to talk confidentially.
My first session
The first session is a chance for you to ask any questions and for us to see how we can work together. I will also go through a contract – which covers practical things like confidentiality, fees and cancellations. It may be that after this session you want some time to think about whether or not to proceed. This is absolutely fine. It is important that you feel comfortable.
