About me and my therapy practice
My aim is to listen and help you think about the issues you are facing. Through deepening your understanding of how you relate to yourself, and the world around you, I hope you will discover new ways of living your life with greater clarity and ease.
My first session
Before you commit to regular sessions, I suggest we meet for an initial consultation to discuss your reasons for coming and how we might work together, as well as to address any queries or concerns you might have. I might ask some specific questions about your issues, your background and your expectations of therapy. This lasts for fifty minutes and is a chance for us to get to know each other.
In some cases, you may decide not to continue with me, or I may decide you need someone with more specific expertise, in which case I may be able to refer you to a colleague or to an alternative service.
