About me and my therapy practice

Ease the associated feelings of your next anxiety attack. Anxiety can be a real problem with undesired physical effects and intrusive thoughts. I provide simple strategies to master your fear. Clients have reported vast improvements within seven weeks. Do you suffer from Anxiety? How much do you understand about your Anxiety? Does Anxiety stop you from doing the things you want to do? Would you like the opportunity to address how Anxiety affects your personal experiences by speaking one-to-one rather than a generic description of your suffering? Anxiety is a result of a dysregulated nervous system. Only once we understand the somatic and cognitive effects of Anxiety can we take the steps to calm the nervous system.

Talking about Anxiety alone won't shift it, as Anxiety does not come from the higher cortical brain, where language is accessed along with all other logical thinking. Anxiety comes from the emotional brain and associated feelings fueled by the survival brain to keep you from harm in the (limbic system).

Hence, clients need to start to feel safe in their bodies and work towards recognizing the sensations and emotions associated with Anxiety to gain a measure of control during the process of periods of heightened Anxiety instead of fighting back in reactive, destructive ways.

This is achieved by developing skills to calm your reactions to Anxiety. Once you learn to work with your body, you will enjoy a better quality of life again. I encourage you to explore your thoughts and the feelings created in times of high Anxiety.

Medication will ease but won't fix panic attacks, obsessive thoughts, unrelenting worries, or an incapacitating phobia; knowing you don't have to live with Anxiety and fear is essential. Start living with concentration, confidence, control, and commitment in your life. Would you like to know more? A free consultation is available.

Practice description

High-functioning and motivated clients can become stuck in depression, low self-esteem, Anxiety, and trauma experienced in the past, even as far back as childhood. Working with demanding workloads while making high-pressure decisions with accountability for substantial responsibility takes a daily toll on your window of tolerance.

After a bad experience, you might struggle with a sense of self, relationships with others, and your career because you have never learned how to deal with triggers, pushing them back causing you to feel stuck.

Suppose you have experienced a negative life event. In that case, I facilitate and provide resources to heal and experience better health, progressing to re-connection and self-belief in restoring levels of confidence in yourself. The rest is down to you; figuratively speaking, I supply the dots, and you join them to empower yourself.

Overthinking involves having repetitive, unhelpful, and unhealthy thoughts about past events or worrying about imagined future situations. 40% of adults deal with trauma and Anxiety from early life stress without realizing it.

This Anxiety can cause relationship problems, burnout, stress, and chronic fatigue. Anxiety is living in fear, waiting for the worst to happen. Resilience involves developing inner strength to work through and grow from life challenges.

Therapy gives you the tools, teaching you how to employ them daily in overcoming trauma, Anxiety, and addiction. Discover your sense of drive and vision of who you are, eliminating feelings of not being good enough.

Areas I can help with include:

• addiction

• anxiety

• social Anxiety

• intrusive thoughts

• general Anxiety

• panic attacks

• perfectionism

• coping with uncertainty

• separation anxiety

• depression

• self-worth

• first counselling session

• grief

• stress

• relationships

• trauma
