About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited integrative therapist with an MA in clinical counselling from Chester university. I have experience of supporting clients with a range of issues and I conduct short and long term therapy.

I have worked for a number of organisations, charities and EAP services and I am now in private practice. I have experience of working face to face, online and via telephone.

I have a keen interest in mother and daughter attachment, women's personal and professional development and empowerment.

Practice description

As a qualified supervisor (CPCAB level 6 certificate in therapeutic supervision), I work with trainee and qualified counsellors using an integrated approach.

My work is guided by Hawkins' and Shohets' 'Seven-Eyed' process model of supervision which focuses on: the client, what and how they present; exploration of the strategies and interventions used; the dynamics of the counselling relationship; your development as a counsellor and the interpersonal relational experience between supervisor and supervisee. The wider context in which counselling and supervision take place, including culture, difference and diversity are also considered throughout the process.
