About me and my therapy practice
Do your ever feel like you’re going around in circles? Feel overwhelmed with life? feel stuck and want to make changes in your life but don’t know where to start? Life can be a struggle and confusing at times. I understand how hard it can be to make that first step forward to getting help. Counselling can help you to work through what is troubling you at your own pace with no pressure or judgements.
my name is Julie I am a fully qualified Integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP. Being an integrative counsellor means that I draw from different therapeutic approaches. This allows me to tailor our sessions to best suit your individual needs. I offer an empathic, confidential and safe space to support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings.
My background is in Nursing and health and social care. This has given me a wide range of experiences and insights into the many and varied physical, social and emotional difficulties people face. I am an experienced counsellor working in private practice and I also work for a local charity counselling in community settings and G.P Surgeries. I have also volunteered with the children’s charity place 2 be working in a primary school.
My own personal life experiences and challenges have shown me that with the right support we can overcome the difficulties we face and look forward to a more positive and fulfilled life.
So be brave take that first step forward and get in touch.
