About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life can be a struggle and we are not sure which way to turn, and that can feel scary. I understand that taking that first step to looking for help can be the hardest.
Hi, my name is Julie I am a fully qualified Integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP. Being an integrative counsellor means that I draw from different therapeutic approaches, which allows me to tailor our sessions to best suit your individual needs.
I offer an empathic, non-judgemental, confidential and safe space in which to explore your thoughts and feelings. Working at a pace that suits you.
I have been working in caring capacity for over 25 years, 16 years of which were spent as a nurse within the NHS. This has given me a wide range of experiences and insight into the many and varied physical, social and emotional difficulties people face.
My counselling experience has been working with adults for a local charity in community settings and G.P Surgeries. I have also volunteered with the children’s charity place 2 be working in a primary school.
My own personal life experiences challenges and struggles have all helped me to believe that with the right support you can overcome any difficulties and look forward to a more positive and fulfilled future.
