About me and my therapy practice

Online and In Person counselling sessions available.

A place where where you can talk in confidence about the thoughts that are rattling around your head; somewhere where you will be listened to without judgement.

I provide safety, trust, compassion, cultural sensitivity and extensive professional and personal experience to make this easier.

Sessions are one to one, confidential and last 50 minutes.

Whatever your circumstances, my sessions are a safe space where you will be heard and respected.

Call or text on 07484 160971 or email info@anjali-leverton.co.uk for more information.

I respond to all messages, within 24 hours wherever possible and I'll offer you a free 20 minute call followed by the opportunity to book an initial session.

Together we'll begin the process of looking at the events and feelings that are difficult right now, figure out why you're feeling the way you are and work towards the goals that are important to you.

Anxiety, bereavement, cancer diagnoses, depression, changes in health, stress, self esteem & confidence, relationship issues, loss, the impact of labeling, stereotyping, discrimination and expectations are some of the issues that I've had the privilege of working with.

I work privately and for a hospital based team, counselling patients, carers and staff members from all backgrounds impacted by life altering or life limiting illnesses as well as running anxiety management workshops.

I am also a Volunteer Therapist for Anxiety UK.

Thank you for reading my profile. You'll find more details about how I work at www.anjali-leverton.co.uk. This is also, where you'll find my privacy notice.

If you have any questions just call/text 07484 160971 or email me at info@anjali.leverton.co.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Practice description

I offer a free 20 minute phone call; a chance for you tell me what you're looking for from therapy and for me to explain a bit about how I work,

After this, sessions last 50 minutes.

We'll agree how often we meet in our first session. Usually this is weekly as the regular contact helps us build an effective working relationship.

I work with anyone aged 18 and over.

Therapy to fit you:

I am integratively trained which means that I'm able to adapt my way of working to meet your needs.

You dictate the pace at which we look at the issues your facing as well as what's covered. For example, if you'd like strategies for managing anxiety.

You choose if sessions are online or face to face.

Online: I use Zoom's secure video conferencing technology for online appointments and send you a link for our session once I've received payment.

This allows you to have regular one to one support from the comfort of your own familiar environment, whenever its convenient for you and without any time being lost to travel.

Face to face: I work from comfortable, purpose designed counselling rooms in Wickford and North Fambridge, Essex. Sessions are offered in line with current Government guidelines.

Off-road parking is available in both locations and they're easy to reach from Basildon, Chelmsford, Rayleigh, Benfleet, South Woodham Ferrers, Maldon, Danbury and the Dengie Peninsula.

Both locations have train stations.

My first session

Booking calls and meetings is straightforward. All I need is contact details, information on how you prefer to be contacted (phone, text or email) and an indication of times that work for you.

Call or text 07484 160971 or email info@anjali-leverton.co.uk.

If I'm unable to take your call please feel free to leave your name, number, a convenient time for me to call you back.

Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs £45, payable in advance, by bank transfer.

Whether online or face to face, the first session is a chance for us to meet and get to know each other. It's an opportunity for you to share details about what you're finding challenging and what you're looking for from counselling.

I also talk about confidentiality and how this applies in our work together. An example of this would be, what would happen if we were to see to each other outside of the counselling room.

Towards the end of the first session we'll discuss how this initial time together has felt for you and we'll agree the next steps between us.

There will never be any pressure to book as I believe that the relationship between you and I is key in our work together, so you having a counsellor that you feel comfortable with and that is the right fit for you is vital.

I look forward to hearing from you.
