About me and my therapy practice

I qualified as a Person Centred Counsellor in 2008 after completing a 3 year degree in Person Centred Therapy.

I have experience with teens and adults and have worked within IAPT, Macmillan, and MyLife Counselling private practice. I now have a lot of experience in CBT having worked as a Counsellor within IAPT so can incorporate CBT work together if this is something you feel you would also benefit from.

I now work out of clinic and have my own private practice where I can work with clients in sessions face to face or remotely.

I am very passionate about therapy and believe that Counselling can be beneficial to anyone with anything they want to bring to the sessions.

I work in a safe, confidential setting and provide a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. 

I adhere to the BACP Ethical framework and have regular supervision alongside my clients.

I bring my warmth, integrity and understanding to the work, with a commitment to help you in an empathic, accepting, and non judgemental way. 

I truly believe that everyone is able to benefit from Counselling. It can be an enlightening, powerful and life changing experience, the reason I love the job I have. I am a kind and caring person and helping others is something that I just love to do.

Practice description

I am more than happy to talk via phone or email initially if that helps you to decide if I am the right Therapist for you and to answer any questions that you may have.
