About me and my therapy practice

I have extensive experience working with clients who feel they've lost themselves, suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement or trauma and finding it overwhelmingly difficult to cope with every day life. Whether you are impacted by recent problems or long term struggles, I will support you at your pace on the symptoms that are causing you pain and distress.

Everyone struggles from time to time. There's no weakness or shame in asking for help. It takes strength to remember you deserve more, when our brains are fighting against us and telling us untruths, and you certainly don't have to suffer alone.

I pride myself on being a friendly, professional, understanding Counsellor and I provide a safe, comfortable, confidential and non judgmental space for you to explore issues that are holding you back from living life to the full.

The majority of my work with clients involves work around trauma and complex issues experienced. I offer Person-centred therapy, Clinical hypnotherapy, REWIND Technique and integrative therapy, according to the needs of the client.

Practice description

I have extensive experience working with issues such as generalised anxiety, depression, bereavement, suicide ideation, PTSD, Non-epileptic seizures, phobias, relationship issues, trauma, sexual trauma and domestic violence. I also offer clinical hypnotherapy which is excellent for relaxation, re-framing phobias, smoking cessation, weight loss, sleep issues, confidence, performance and self esteem.

My first session

I offer a free initial 20 minute session either over the phone to talk through the issues that are causing you discomfort. This initial session will allow you the opportunity to get to know me, and allow me to identify ways to help you. Therapy can be undertaken on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

I appreciate making the first step can be difficult, but counselling can be life changing.

You can contact me via, telephone, email, or text and I will reply to you as soon as possible, to book in a suitable appointment time and date for an initial consultation.

My counselling space is on the ground floor and is accessible for disabled clients and has toilet facilities.
