About me and my therapy practice
With so many profiles on this site to view, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I appreciate the challenges when trying to find the right therapist.
Please let me introduce myself, my name is Jasmer Chauhan, and I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist. I believe that if there is anything in your life that is causing you concern and you would like to address it, then it is essential that you choose your therapist carefully. That is why I always offer a free initial telephone consultation to ensure I have the right skills, experience, and approach to support you. This will also allow you to make sure that we connect and can work together at a pace and understanding that is comfortable for you. Besides the professional aspect of our working relationship, there is also the human connection of feeling safe, held, and heard within the session.
We are all human, and we can all relate to the aspect that life is not predictable and that we all experience life events differently. By creating a safe and confidential space for you, we can begin to process your life experiences together. Working together in a collaborative manner will ensure that you remain at the centre of our sessions and that the focus is on prioritising your concerns. Through our sessions, I will walk with you to help you find ways of dealing with your issues more positively and effectively. I will work with you to support, encourage, and inspire you to become a better version of yourself.
