About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Harriet. I am a BACP accredited counsellor. I provide counselling to support individuals either face to face, online or by telephone. As well as working in private practice and the charity sector, I provide workplace counselling for the NHS and council employees.
I am an integrative counsellor which means I incorporate a number of different ways of thinking into my work depending on what you, the client needs.
My aim is to create a supportive and confidential space in which to explore current difficulties. I adopt a solution focussed approach and encourage clients to think about what they want to achieve and work towards meeting those goals.
I also have an interest in focussing on both emotional and physical impacts of stress and anxiety, introducing self compassion using EFT and identifying more helpful patterns of behaviour to create a sense of well-being and balance.
I hold a Level 2 Certificate in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
