About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centred counsellor/psychotherapist practising in the Kentish town and Tufnell Park area of London. I work with individuals, providing one-to-one counselling for a wide range of issues or concerns. I also offer parenting support to individuals and couples who are seeking to deepen their connection to their children and develop their knowledge and understanding of why children do what they do and how to meet them where they are, and at the appropriate level.
I am committed to offering a confidential, safe and supportive environment within which you can explore your experiences, past and present, while being encouraged to focus on your feelings. This process, while challenging, can lead to increased self-awareness, an understanding of why and how you feel things in relation to your experiences, and the potential for growth and healing, helping you to move from confusion to clarity, and from self- doubt to self-esteem.
I know first-hand that taking the first steps towards therapy can be daunting, and that choosing a therapist from the many out there can feel even more so. With this in mind I offer a consultation either in person or by phone, so that I can explain how I work and answer any questions you may have about the process. I do not charge for this one off meeting and I encourage you to ‘shop around’ until you find a therapist you’re comfortable with.
Until further notice I am offering therapy remotely via Skype or telephone only. This is due to the current covid 19 situation and I will be reviewing this regularly, with the safety of my clients and myself at the heart of any changes to this.
