About me and my therapy practice

Located between Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield, I offer a warm, welcoming and safe space where we can explore what is causing you distress.

I will support you in difficult moments, offering a respectful, non-judgmental relationship where I hope you will feel heard, understood and accepted. As our counselling work progresses, I will support you to find more clarity and strength in yourself and a way forward that is right for you.

Clients have come to see me about a wide variety of issues including loss of a loved one, redundancy, addiction and relationship breakdown, events which bring dramatic change to our lives often leaving us feeling lost, bereft, stressed, anxious or depressed.

I have a range of experience including working with staff and students in Higher Education at three Universities, bereavement and loss and counselling for staff in the NHS. I am experienced in working in a range of mediums including face to face, email, instant messaging, telephone and Skype.

I’m a Registered and Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling (Keele University). I’m a qualified Online Counsellor and member of the Association of Counselling and Therapy Online. Having gained a degree in languages and a Masters in International Studies, I enjoyed a career working on arts, European and education projects in the public sector and as a freelance consultant before retraining as a counsellor in 2012.

I offer counselling appointments on a flexible basis during the week. I also offer online counselling (email, instant messaging, Skype or telephone) . Please contact me to discuss what type of support would be best for you.  I look forward to hearing from you.
