About me and my therapy practice
I have over twelve years experience of working face to face with clients.
I started my career working in a treatment centre in central London specialising in addiction primarily problematic alcohol use. Working with addiction opened the door to working with many other issues.
As well as one to one work I also have much experience of facilitating therapeutic groups.
My current job is working with individuals and families who have been affected by problematic alcohol use.
The main therapeutic approach I use is person centred which emphasises the importance of the relationship between the counsellor and client.
I also believe that our past strongly influences our future I particular our relationship with ourself and others. My counselling approach is flexible and not a one size fits all.
If you are interested in working with me I encourage you to call under no obligation. This will help you to get a better sense of me and help you to decide if you would like to meet for an initial assessment. I can also answer your questions and discuss what you would like to change.
