About me and my therapy practice
In the chaotic world that we live in, at times we can feel stressed, anxious or overwhelmed. It’s important that we take time to pause, reflect and make sense of our emotions and experiences.Coming to counselling can feel daunting but can be the most important steps that you take towards making a change.
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and I have a Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling. Being trained within an integrative approach means that I am able to tailor my approach to best suit your needs. This includes using Person centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT.) I use several theories where appropriate because I believe that we are all unique individuals and one theory doesn’t always fit all.
I can offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where together we can explore anything that may be troubling you. Life’s challenges can be explored within a supportive and calm environment.
In life we can experience traumatic, and difficult times. We can lose our focus, have difficulties within relationships and can lose our sense of self. Counselling can support you to rediscover who you are, explore relationships and more. Taking the steps to come to counselling means taking the steps to being exactly who you want to be. This will be a journey that we take together.
I am based in King’s Lynn and can offer short term and long term counselling that can be face to face, through online video call, or telephone call.
My first session
The first session will be 50 minutes and can be Face to face via Zoom or Telephone call, however you wish to attend your sessions.
During the first session we will establish what has brought you to counselling and will decide whether we would like to work together within the therapeutic sessions.
