About me and my therapy practice
I have been a fully qualified therapist for over 15 years and a registered member of the BACP and an Accredited member of IPTUK.
I originally trained and qualified as a Person-Centred Therapist in 2003 which will always be at the foundation of my therapy, although I have become more Integrative due to continued learning and therapies that I have qualified in.
In 2009 I trained at St Georges University Hospital in Tooting to become a Family Practitioner working systemically with families, couple’s adolescents and young children, I have worked with many families with vast range of issues within their family system, for example family separation, bereavement within the family unit, breakdown of communication within the family, my work has also expanded to work with families that have either fostered or adopted children.
In 2013 I trained and qualified as an accredited IPT therapist (Interpersonal Therapist) which is a specific 16 week based therapy, working with Transitions, Unresolved Grief, Disputes and Sensitivities. I have continued my training within my IPT work by attending a two-day course at the Anna Freud Centre to study Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy to work with people that have a diagnosis of Bi-Polar.
I have also worked as Clinical Lead for a mental health charity managing a team of screeners whose work was to screen GP referrals to appropriate primary or secondary mental health services.

Anxiety • Depression • All forms of Abuse • Bereavement • Childhood Trauma • Pre-and Postnatal Depression • Separation and Divorce • Self Harm • Suicidal Thoughts • Stress • Miscarriage • Self esteem • School stress • Bullying • Autism • Attachment • Anger • Stroke • Illnesses

About me and my therapy practice
I work within a private practice near Great Dunmow, I have been a counsellor for over 15 years, my journey has taken me to qualify as a person centred therapist, Interpersonal therapist and also a family systemic practitioner. Over a year ago I felt after all the years of experience and work that I have completed my next step would be to qualify as a supervisor which I completed late last year 2019.
I can offer face to face supervision, via skype or telephone. I am qualified to level 6 and can offer my supervision services to qualified and counselling students, if you are a student looking for supervision I will support you through your journey and work with you and your university/college to maximise your learning, the supervision would need to be face to face as I feel this is the most appropriate whilst you are learning. My services cover many genres of counselling and I can work with you to accommodate an appropriate time to complete supervision.
Clients I work with
Adults, Children, Couples, Families, Older adults, Trainees, Young people
