About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Rebecca,
I am currently offering face to face and telephone or online counselling via Zoom.
There are lots of reasons why someone may come for counselling. It may be that they are trying to come to terms with a loss or are finding it difficult to cope with the stresses of everyday life. It could be their past is affecting everyday life. In fact, someone may not even know the reason. You may feel that you would benefit from talking to someone in a supportive and confidential environment.
My training was in Therapeutic counselling I qualified in 2007, and I have since undertaken further training in CBT, Transactional Analysis and children's mental health. I have a First in BA Hons in Solution-Focused Counselling.
I have worked with a wide range of clients from young people, couples and individuals on the Autism spectrum. I have also worked with clients with a variety of issues, survivors of sexual assault and abuse and domestic violence in the voluntary sector and in my own private practice.
I also have experience working and dealing with issues such as depression, eating disorders, substance misuse and phobias, PTSD and trauma, anxiety and more complex issues.

My first session
I offer a free consolation for 30 mins to discuss what you may want to expect and what you want to achieve from counselling/
I offer a safe warm and welcoming space in a non-judgmental approach, to explore your feelings thoughts and behaviours.
Counselling sessions are 50 mins long this can be face to face, online via Zoom or telephone.
I offer day, evenings and weekend appointments, discounts available for students and people on low wages or certain benefits.
