About me and my therapy practice

My broad experience has helped clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, childhood emotional trauma, suicide ideation and mental health issues. By working together, I offer you the space to grow in self worth and will help you feel able to face the day ahead with more confidence, higher self-esteem and greater positivity.

Before training to become a qualified Psychotherapeutic and Relationship Counsellor I spent over twenty years recruiting for some of the world's leading companies, guiding and coaching professionals from graduates to board level executives, gaining huge insight into peoples lives and the difficulties experienced when trying to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

My approach to psychotherapy and relationship counselling is founded on bringing the same high level of professionalism whilst working in a uniquely personal way with you, or you and your partner. I help by reducing psychological distress to a manageable level, improving communication within yourself, and with partners and those around you thereby increasing your positivity and your sense of self worth whilst improving all your relationships. When you are ready to leave counselling you will feel able to cope again, trust in the choices and decisions you make and generally feel much stronger, positive and comfortable within yourself and with those you are close to.

Practice description

I am based in a beautiful, private and highly discreet counselling room that offers calm, safety and is away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. With current COVID-19 social distancing measures still in place, I am able to offer Face-to-Face, Zoom and telephone counselling. My room is large and easily accommodates 2 metre social distancing with direct access and large, double doors that we can leave open if you prefer.

My first session

I offer a free telephone consultation so we can talk more about you, what you are looking for from me and to help you get a feel for whether you would like to work with me.  Our first sessions will focus on exploring the issues you have been struggling with so that we can move towards understanding the underlying reasons for these and, ultimately, help you move towards greater enlightenment, understanding and self acceptance. These new beliefs will create a sense greater harmony, both within yourself but also all your relationships and thereby will help you move towards greater positivity and happiness.
