Availability

I am currently available for new clients.

I work in-person, and online. Please find further details of my schedule below:

Mondays - in-person at London Bridge in the afternoon between the hours of 14:00 to 17:00. Please contact me for availability.

Tuesdays to Fridays - Online only. Due to flexibility with online work, it would be best for us to arrange a mutually convenient time once we are in contact with each other.

Information with planned leaves will be emailed to clients with plenty of notice. If there are any unforeseen circumstances preventing me from attending a session, I will do my best to rearrange it within the week if our schedules permit.

I don't have any planned long-term leave in the near future, which allows me to work with clients consistently.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi, taking the step to find a counsellor often comes at a time when you're feeling stuck, helpless, alone, or disconnected from your own power. I believe that you have everything you need within you to create positive change, and my aim as a counsellor is to help guide you to access those inner resources.

My name is Radhika, I am a practicing Psychosynthesis counsellor.

Psychosynthesis is a holistic approach that recognises we all have different parts within ourselves - the people-pleaser, the inner-critic, the fun one, the scared one, etc. Rather than fighting these parts, psychosynthesis helps you understand and integrate them so you can connect with your whole self, and thus, your power.

While not a comprehensive list, I work with adults struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, low self-esteem/worth, disordered eating, depression. Additionally, coming from a multicultural background gives me insight into how cultural backgrounds can shape our sense of identity and belonging.

When working with a client, I aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where you feel safe and heard. I believe that you know your truth better than anyone else, so I tend to follow your pace rather than imposing an agenda. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore what feels important, offering gentle guidance and psychosynthesis tools when they feel helpful.

Practice description

I offer sessions online, and in-person on Mondays at London Bridge. Once I receive your enquiry, I will strive to reply as soon as possible. After we establish contact, we can arrange for a free 15-minute consultation to determine if I am the right fit to suit your needs.

When we mutually agree to work together, we will arrange a weekly 50-minute session at a time convenient to both our schedules.

Please note that I only offer weekly sessions as I find this allows for continuity and flow to our work. These are integral to your process of connecting with the different parts of yourself.

I will then email you some documents containing more detailed information regarding sessions, confidentiality, holidays, and general housekeeping. I believe in open communication, so please feel free to discuss any questions or concerns with me as they arise. Once we've reviewed the documents together, we can begin our work.

I look forward to hearing from you, and walking alongside you on your journey.

My first session

Our first session will be different from the following ones, as I use it to gather information about the issues that have brought you to counselling. I will also ask you questions that may not seem directly relevant to your current concerns, but will help me gain an overall picture of your background and current situation. These questions will cover areas such as your family background, friendships, relationships, and other aspects of your life.

This may sometimes take more than one session, depending on how the first session flows and whether either of us feels that additional information would help inform our future work.
