Availability

I am currently unable to accept new clients; I do have a waiting list and estimate a wait of at least 8 weeks before I am able to offer an initial appointment.

In the meantime, you are welcome to contact me to discuss your enquiry.

About me and my therapy practice

I have been in practice for 15 years, and offer confidential and supportive therapy from my private practice in the centre of Halesowen.

I really do appreciate how daunting it can feel when looking into the prospect of therapy so you are welcome to contact to find out more about me, how I work and whether you feel I could be a suitable therapist for you. There’s no obligation to book any sessions if you feel unsure but this can be helpful initially.

At first, you may feel unsure where to begin but your initial session is an an opportunity to explore your reasons for your referral, get to know each other and address expectations of therapy. Further sessions progress at your pace, and we can explore all the things that have an influence and effect on your life. The intention is to work towards a more positive outcome that’s right for you.

I offer a person-centred approach and draw on elements from other therapeutic models where appropriate and beneficial for my client.

EAP and Private Healthcare clients welcome - I am a recognised practitioner with various EAP and private healthcare providers, including BUPA and Aviva. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I now offer telephone consultations in addition to face to face sessions. Face to face sessions are available but currently limited.

Practice description

The Retreat is located in Halesowen town centre and easily accessible by public transport or car with nearby parking available. My practice offers a calm, comfortable and welcoming space, discreetly located next to the church. Please contact for further details.

My first session

I understand you may feel anxious about attending your initial session but you are welcome to invite a friend or relative along for support if you feel this could be helpful. Your first session is about getting to know you and your reasons for your referral; there are no expectations placed on you to talk about anything that you are not ready to, we address your issues at your pace. There will be a small amount of admin which only takes around five minutes to complete. A session is usually 50 mins but please allow an hour for your initial session if needed.
