About me and my therapy practice
You may be wondering why you do some of the things you do, things that may be harmful to yourself or others, or that keep bringing you back to square one. Perhaps you feel lonely, even when you are with other people, or stuck in the process of making a difficult decision. You may be struggling with depression or anxiety, feel stressed all the time and find it hard to relax.
Whatever your reason for ending up at my profile, your being here shows that you have, at the very least, a glimmer of hope that things could be better, and a sense that you need someone to help you on your journey.

I provide safe, confidential and non-judgmental counselling, offering you the space to discuss and explore what is troubling you, with the aim of helping you to find a way forward. I work in a comfortable, private room in Emsworth, Hampshire.
You are invited to arrange a preliminary meeting with me, where we can explore and decide whether to go ahead with counselling. You will have the chance to learn about me, how I work, whether you feel I am the right person to help you, and to tell me a bit about what you are seeking help with. We may then decide to meet for a set number of sessions, or work on a more open-ended basis.
I gained my Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2009 and have counselled on a voluntary and private paid basis since then. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and as such I am bound by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. My work is overseen by a supervisor and I undertake regular Continuous Professional Development activities
