I am a person centered therapists, that works in an integrative manner.

 I believe that the client holds the key they just need an compassionate person to help them in their individual growth and development. 

 The sessions I offer focuses on you and how you can seek to make the changes you want to change. 

 I will assist you on your journey, in a caring, non judgmental manner. 

Practice description

You will have the option to meet either on line  or on the phone, the choice will be yours. each session will last for 50 mins.

 You will have the option to receive home work  to support your personal development. 

My first session

The first session is very much us getting to know each other. It is ok to be  anxious, worried, calm and collective, who ever you are you will not be judged.

About me and my therapy practice

I am able to provide integrative supervision to Trainee Counsellors of Counsellors who are already qualified. Through I would say my practice is very much informed by the person centred model.

I am able to offer supervision to those working  as family support practitioners, personal advisors or contact supervisors.  

I am able to offer online and telephone supervision. 

 

Practice description

I work in a calm and reassuring manner as Supervisee and Supervisor as we seek to find a mutual professional working alliance. To engage in the client experiences through the work of the therapists. 

I would say, through I work in an integrative way, my practice is underpinned by the person centered model, as I seek to engage with the  therapist to engage with their client, to protect the client, public and profession.  

For the supervisee to understand that I do not know all the answers but we can work them out together. In doing so build on  your knowledge, understanding, strength, skills and practice techniques to develop healthy therapeutic relationships. 

As a registered member of the BACP, we will be working together to ensure that our practice meets their requirements.  

To engage with this role I have engaged in the following training:

Professional Diploma in Therapeutic counselling Edxcel Level 5.

Postgraduate certificate. PGC in evidence  based parenting programs supervision and leadership. 

Management Level 4.

Clinical supervision: providing effective supervision, navigating  ethical issue and managing risks.

Best practice in clinical supervision. A blue print for providing Effective and Ethical Supervision. 

Online clinical supervision : Best practices for Every Clinician.

Clinical supervision: Use of reflection in supervision.

Challenging situations for clinical supervisors.    

Various child protection courses.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity to see if we are able to connect with each other.   

For each of us to see if we are able to have the base for creating a professional working alliance.   

For the supervisee to understand that  we are creating a partnership. I do not know all the answers but we can work them  out together.

To have an understanding of the supervisee and their needs.

To have an understanding of your area of work to determine if it is withing my area of occupational competency.

To have an understanding of what the supervisee would like form supervision and what i am able to offer. 

To have an understanding of where the supervisee is in their professional development.

We will discuss boundaries, contracting and confidentiality. 

To determine the frequency of supervision.
