About me and my therapy practice
Making the decision to seek counselling shows a desire for change. Starting therapy demonstrates a commitment to making those changes happen.
I work with clients across a range of issues including depression, abuse, addiction, loss, anger management and low self-esteem. My previous role as a counsellor at a leading youth charity means I have experience supporting young adults and teenagers. A particular focus of my work has been helping clients overcome anxiety and low mood.
I work as a person centered counsellor in partnership with my clients and work to support them to change and grow.
The first step is for us to talk on the phone. This gives you a chance to see if I am the right therapist for you. We will also discuss fees and confidentiality. If we then decide to move forward we can arrange a time for a first appointment.

Sessions are 50 minutes and either take place at my practice room in Forest Row or remotely. I follow the BACP's ethical code and am a qualified person centered counsellor. I have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate and am fully insured.
My first session
I meet with new clients after an initial phone conversation. This includes a potential client whose parents, partners or family are looking for support on their behalf.
